Teachers of ballet students who teach beginning pointe work know how important it is to have music at correct tempi, music with clear introductions, and music that is interesting. All of these concepts were kept in mind when designing the music for, Pointe to Pointe.  Mignon  Furman was a devoted dance teacher who was committed to giving children a strong introduction to ballet.  Her wisdom with this level gave  pianist Steven Mitchell exceptional guidance to create Pointe to  Pointe.  We created a double disc set: the first for Beginning Level Pointe class and the second for Intermediate Pointe Class. The music is leveled for a young age group with slow barre tempos for placement and strength along with center exercises that help them learn to use their new ‘feet’.  If you teach an introduction to pointe class you will want to add this recording to your collection
